Contributor Terms of Service

1. Welcome to Creddit

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation as a contributor on the Creddit platform (“Creddit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — they explain how Creddit works, how you earn, and what we both commit to.

Creddit is a task marketplace that connects vetted contributors with short tasks they can complete to earn real money. You pick your tasks, work on your schedule, and withdraw your earnings whenever you’re ready.

2. Eligibility

To participate on Creddit as a contributor you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally able to enter into contracts in your country of residence
• Reside in a country supported by Stripe, our payment partner. A current list of supported countries is available at stripe.com/global
• Hold a Reddit account that meets Creddit’s minimum account quality standards as assessed at onboarding

These requirements exist to ensure we can pay you reliably and that our relationship is legally sound on both sides.

3. Your Relationship with Creddit

You participate on Creddit as an independent contractor, not as an employee, agent, or partner of Creddit. This means:

• You choose which tasks to accept and when to work
• You are responsible for your own taxes on earnings from Creddit
• Creddit does not withhold taxes on your behalf
• You are not entitled to employee benefits such as health insurance, paid leave, or contributor compensation through Creddit

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes applicable to your earnings from Creddit in your jurisdiction. Creddit does not provide tax advice or documentation.

4. Account Registration & Verification

4.1 Creating your account

When you sign up, you’ll provide basic information and connect your Reddit account for eligibility assessment. We review your profile before approving your account — this process typically takes a short time and we’ll notify you of the outcome.

4.2 Account scoring

To match you with the right tasks and tier, Creddit assesses the quality and standing of your Reddit account at onboarding using publicly available signals such as account age, activity history, and community participation. This assessment determines your starting tier. Your tier is promoted automatically at any point you become eligible based on your performance — there is no waiting period or manual application required.

4.3 Keeping your information accurate

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Accounts found to use false or misleading information may be reviewed.

4.4 One account per person

Each contributor may maintain only one Creddit account. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted and may result in account review.

4.5 Public account activity

Your Reddit account’s activity including posts and comments must remain publicly visible at all times while you are an active contributor on Creddit. Restricting or hiding your account activity is not permitted and will result in account suspension.

5. Contributor Content Standards

This section is fundamental to how Creddit operates and must be read carefully before claiming any task.

5.1 Genuine experience requirement

You may only claim and complete tasks for products or services that you have personally used or had direct experience with. Claiming tasks for products you have not used is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension.

5.2 Honest opinion requirement

Any content you submit through Creddit must reflect your genuine personal opinion of the product or service in question. You must not submit content that expresses views you do not sincerely hold, regardless of what the task brief suggests. Creddit does not require, incentivise, or condition payment on content expressing any particular sentiment — positive or negative.

5.3 Per-task declaration

Before submitting any completed task, you will be required to confirm the following declaration:

“I confirm that: (1) I have personally used or had direct experience with this product or service; (2) the content I am submitting reflects my genuine personal opinion; and (3) I am completing this task voluntarily and have not been required to express any particular sentiment.”

Ticking this declaration without it being true is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate account suspension.

5.4 Right to skip

You have no obligation to claim any task. If a task relates to a product you have not used, or if you do not hold a genuine opinion about it, you must skip that task. There are no penalties for skipping tasks and your account health score is unaffected by tasks you choose not to claim.

6. Tasks

6.1 How tasks work

Tasks are made available in the Tasks section of your Creddit dashboard. Tasks are first-come, first-served. Once you claim a task it is reserved for you and you will have 5 minutes to complete it and submit the required link as proof of completion. If the submission window passes without a valid submission, the task is released back to the pool and your account health score will be affected.

6.2 Proof of completion

When you submit a task, you’ll provide a link confirming completion. Submissions must be genuine — submitting false or fabricated proof is a violation of these Terms.

6.3 Verification

Creddit verifies completed tasks within 3 days of submission. Once verified, your credits are permanently released to your balance. Tasks that cannot be verified within that window will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Credits & Earnings

7.1 How credits work

When a task is successfully verified, you earn credits to your Creddit balance. Credits represent your earned value on the platform and can be converted to cash at any time once your balance meets the minimum withdrawal threshold.

7.2 Credit value

100 Creddit credits = USD $1.00. This rate is fixed and guaranteed for all credits already in your balance. Creddit reserves the right to adjust the rate for future earnings with reasonable advance notice.

7.3 Withdrawal threshold

You can withdraw your earnings once your balance reaches 2,000 credits (USD $20.00). There is no maximum withdrawal limit. We encourage you to withdraw your earnings regularly.

7.4 Payouts

Withdrawals are processed through Stripe. Funds are typically delivered within 3–5 business days depending on your bank and location. Creddit does not charge any fees on withdrawals — you receive the full dollar value of your credits.

7.5 Credits are non-transferable

Credits in your Creddit balance are yours and cannot be transferred to another contributor’s account.

7.6 Credits are not currency

Creddit credits are not a cryptocurrency, stored-value instrument, or regulated financial product. They are a reward mechanism redeemable exclusively through the Creddit platform.

8. Account Health & Tier System

8.1 Tiers

Creddit operates a tiered system that determines the types and volume of tasks available to you. Your tier is assigned at onboarding based on your account assessment and is upgraded automatically whenever you meet the eligibility criteria — no action is required on your part.

8.2 Account health

Your account health score reflects how actively and reliably you maintain your Reddit account and complete tasks on Creddit. A healthy score unlocks more opportunities. Your health score starts at 100 and is updated regularly based on your activity. You can always view your current score and the factors that influence it from your dashboard.

8.3 Tier progression

Contributors who maintain strong performance over a sustained period become eligible for tier upgrades automatically, which unlock higher-value tasks and greater earning potential. Tier progression criteria are shown transparently in your dashboard.

8.4 Tier review

If your performance score falls below a defined threshold for a sustained period, your tier may be reviewed. You will always be notified before any change takes effect and can see exactly what is affecting your score in your dashboard.

9. Confidentiality

9.1 Operational confidentiality

As a contributor on Creddit, you agree to keep the following information confidential and not disclose it to any third party:

• The commercial terms, pricing, and credit rates of the Creddit platform
• The identity of other contributors on the platform
• Internal platform processes, tooling, and infrastructure
• Any client or brand information shared with you in the course of a task that is not otherwise publicly available

This confidentiality obligation does not extend to the general nature of your participation on the platform. You are not required to deny that you use Creddit if asked directly.

9.2 No instruction to conceal

Creddit does not instruct contributors to conceal, deny, or misrepresent their participation on the platform. If you are directly asked by any person whether a comment you posted was completed through a paid platform, you are free to answer truthfully. Creddit will never penalise a contributor for answering such questions honestly.

9.3 Contact by third parties

If you are approached by a brand, researcher, journalist, regulator, or any other third party in connection with a task you have completed, you should not discuss the internal operational details of the Creddit platform (as described in 9.1). Beyond those operational details, you are not restricted from speaking truthfully about your own participation.

9.4 Prohibition on direct brand collaboration

Directly soliciting, accepting work from, or entering into any commercial arrangement with a brand or third party in direct connection with activities you have undertaken through Creddit, whether solicited or unsolicited, is strictly prohibited. Violation of this clause will result in immediate account suspension and may result in legal action for breach of contract.

10. Suspension & Termination

10.1 Your right to leave

You may close your Creddit account at any time. We encourage you to withdraw your earnings before closing your account. Any balance that meets the withdrawal threshold at the time of closure will be paid out to you. Balances below the minimum withdrawal threshold at the time of voluntary closure are forfeited.

10.2 Account review

Creddit reserves the right to review, suspend, or close accounts that violate these Terms. In cases of suspension, we will communicate the reason and, where possible, the path to resolution.

10.3 Balances on suspension

If your account is suspended for a violation of these Terms, credits that have been verified and released to your balance but not yet withdrawn will be held pending review. Credits that have not yet been verified at the time of suspension will not be released until the review is complete.

10.4 Grounds for immediate suspension

The following violations result in immediate account suspension and may result in legal action:

• Claiming tasks for products you have not personally used
• Submitting content that does not reflect your genuine personal opinion
• Ticking the per-task declaration (Section 5.3) falsely
• Restricting or hiding Reddit account activity while active on Creddit
• Directly collaborating with or accepting work from a brand or third party in connection with Creddit tasks
• Disclosing confidential operational platform information to any third party (as defined in Section 9.1)
• Submitting false or fabricated proof of task completion
• Creating or operating more than one Creddit account

10.5 Appeals

If you believe your account was reviewed or suspended in error, you may contact our support team. We review all appeals and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Prohibited Conduct

To keep Creddit fair and functional for everyone, the following are not permitted:

• Claiming tasks for products or services you have not personally used
• Submitting content that does not reflect your honest personal opinion
• Submitting false, fabricated, or duplicate proof of task completion
• Sharing account access with another person
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Creddit platform
• Attempting to manipulate your account health score or tier assessment
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or Creddit staff

12. Intellectual Property

Tasks completed on Creddit may produce content. By submitting completed tasks, you grant Creddit a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content solely for the purposes of: (a) verifying task completion; (b) internal platform analytics and quality review; and (c) reporting aggregate performance data to the relevant brand client.

This licence does not permit Creddit or its clients to republish, redistribute, or repurpose your content outside of these purposes without your separate consent. You retain ownership of your own original creative work.

13. Privacy

Creddit collects and processes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• We collect only what we need to operate the platform and process your payments
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe, whose own privacy policy applies to financial data

14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Creddit provides the platform on an “as is” basis. While we work hard to keep things running smoothly, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that a specific volume of tasks will always be available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creddit’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the total credits earned by you in the 90 days preceding the claim.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

We encourage contributors to raise any concerns with our support team informally in the first instance. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes without escalation.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to resolve disputes individually and not as part of a class action. Where arbitration is not enforceable under the laws of your country of residence, disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of your country of residence.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before changes take effect. If you continue using Creddit after the effective date of a change, you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree with a change, you’re free to close your account before it takes effect.
