Creddit
Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Creddit (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Creddit platform at creddithq.com. By creating an account and using the platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect only what we need to operate the platform and pay you reliably. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Name and email address, provided at registration
- Reddit account username, connected at onboarding for eligibility assessment
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Reddit account signals used for account scoring: account age, karma, and publicly visible activity history. These are collected via Reddit’s public-facing data at onboarding and periodically thereafter to maintain your account tier assessment.
- Task history: a record of tasks you have claimed, submitted, and completed on the platform, including submission timestamps and verification status.
- Account health signals: performance metrics derived from your task activity, used to calculate your account health score and tier standing.
2.3 Payment information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or process your bank account details, card numbers, or any other financial credentials directly. Stripe’s own Privacy Policy governs the handling of your payment data. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve the Creddit platform. Specifically:
- To verify your eligibility and create your account
- To assess and assign your contributor tier based on Reddit account quality
- To match you with relevant tasks based on your tier and account health
- To verify task completions and release earned credits to your balance
- To process withdrawals through Stripe
- To calculate and display your account health score and tier standing
- To communicate with you about your account, tasks, and platform updates
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for third-party purposes, or any purpose beyond operating the platform.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, payment records which may be retained for up to 7 years under applicable financial regulations).
Task history and account health data associated with your account will be deleted alongside your account data within the same 90-day window.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe.
